Differences and Similarities of Doodle Fiction, Manga and Graphic Novel

 DOODLE FICTION

                literary presentation where the author incorporates doodle writing,drawings and handwritten graphics in place of the traditional font.



MANGA

            A style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels, typically aimed at adults as well as children.





GRAPHIC NOVEL

                    Narrative in comic book formats.
Narrative work in which the story is conveyed to the reader using a comic form.



SIMILARITIES:

              All of these genres incorporate drawings, illustration, or graphics in telling a story. All of these styles, to be even more obvious, contains pictures that engages viewers effectively. These are all from the 21st Century.


DIFFERENCES IN TERMS OF STRUCTURE:


            The structures of manga is that the reader is reading from right to left while graphic novel is being read from left to right. Both of the genre's structure are not to differ from each other since both are comic book style. Doodle fictions follow a novel or story book type of narration.


IN TERMS OF ELEMENTS:


                    Doodle Fictions use doodle writing and the drawings are different from the others. Manga use Japanese art style to draw and usually, almost the color are black and white.
